About us

Priogen is a University of Minnesota spin-off company founded in 2022. The company originated from the founding team's work at the Minnesota Center for Prion Research and Outreach (MNPRO), established in 2019. Their mission to advance Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD) diagnostic tools led to significant breakthroughs, culminating in the spin-out of Priogen, which focuses on next-generation prion diagnostics and services.
